How it works. 

Step 1: Prescription Submission Doctors provide Respocare with a prescription for oxygen therapy for their patients. This script is the first step towards initiating our comprehensive monitoring program.

Step 2: Scheduling the Visit Upon receiving the prescription, Respocare schedules a visit to the patient's home. These visits are conducted every six months to ensure timely and consistent monitoring of the patient's therapy adherence and health status.

Step 3: Conducting the Compliance and Vital Monitoring Check During each visit, our trained specialists perform a thorough compliance check to monitor the patient’s usage of the prescribed oxygen therapy.

 

We also conduct a complete assessment of vital signs including:

​

  • Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP)

  • Diastolic and Systolic Blood Pressure (DIA & SYS)

  • Non-Invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP)

  • Pulse Rate (PR)

  • Heart Rate (HR)

  • Oxygen Saturation (SpO2)

  • Pulse Pressure Difference (PPD): This measures the difference between the systolic and diastolic blood pressure, providing insight into the arterial stiffness and overall cardiovascular health.

SpO2 levels are measured both on and off oxygen to provide a comprehensive view of the patient's respiratory health.

​

Step 4: Comprehensive Reporting After each visit, Respocare compiles a detailed report outlining the patient's compliance with the oxygen therapy and a holistic overview of their vitals. This report is designed to give doctors a clear and complete picture of the patient's health, aiding in better treatment planning and management.

Step 5: Delivery of the Report The comprehensive report is securely delivered to the prescribing doctor, providing them with essential insights without any need for follow-up or additional requests.

No Additional Costs This valuable service is provided at no extra charge to the doctor or the patient. It is part of Respocare's commitment to enhancing patient care and supporting healthcare providers with the best possible tools and information.
